I hope having some frequently asked questions zaps some of the anxiety or uncertainty out of approaching this service. 

And I also hope it encourages other questions - which you can ask here (in the comments), or on a call or via email or FB messenger. Please try not to feel shy about reaching out.



Q : Do I need a diagnosis to get support?

A : No, not at all. And if you do, this service is to add to any treatment you may have, not replace it if you need statutory mental health services or other formalised care. It's an add on, complementary service. 

Q : Do I need to be a Carer or a Health worker?*

A : No, these are support areas I specialise in & have experience in & feel passionately about, but it's not necessary to be a carer or health worker. 

*But if you are please reach out as you're deserving of support & I've pretty big discounts available for you too!.

Q : Do you also have lived experience?

A : Yes I do, and I subtley weave it into my approach. I've tried lots of therapies & self care & it allows for an informed approach. 

Q : What should I expect from an introductory chat with you? (30 minutes offered for free). 

A : Together we'll ascertain why you've approached the service & we can see if we gel as people & what your needs are. I use lots of different tools & we'll work on what feels a good fit for you as everyone's so different.

Q : What should I expect from a session with you?

A : That will depend on what appeals to you to work on. Do you need companionship? Or insight into a cause of anxiety & ways to understand & combat this. Or you may you like to try some nature based sessions or a slightly more structured approach using some simple tools to get to know the areas you'd like to work on.

Or you may be looking for something specific & really practical (overwhelmed with washing up or bills or life events for example). 

This offer is for businesses too. As so many industries encounter people in emotional difficulty & may want some guidance & reassurance they're saying the right things. 

And businesses & employees themselves may want a breather & some emotional wellbeing tips for themselves too. 

We make a plan together & start with a simple intake form & formulate an agreed plan together.
